Medical Intake Specialist

Our client, healthcare services provider, is seeking a Medical Intake Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Intake Specialist, you will be part of the front office team supporting patient care and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and strong organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Intake Specialist

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: $15.87/hr

Shift: 8AM - 5PM

• Welcome patients to the facility with a friendly and professional attitude
• Complete all admissions paperwork and enter data digitally
• Verify medical insurance coverage and benefits for each patient
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Answer phone calls and inquiries, addressing patient questions and concerns

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse individuals
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of health insurance and medical procedures
• Proficiency with software programs and medical technology
