Director-Women and Children's Services

Overview

Director-Women and Children's Services  at Memorial Medical Center of Las Cruces is seeking a full-time Women and Children's Services Director. The Director is responsible for ensuring the Department meets all legal and accreditation requirements and complies with MMC policies, procedures, codes and standards. Services are provided across the life span within the department's health care spectrum. The Director will maintain budgets, staffing and supplies, develop policies and procedures for operating a highly efficient, customer-focused department, and maintain effective working relationships with MMC's customers including physicians, patients, families and other team members.

• Ensure the department meets legal and accreditation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Memorial Medical Center's mission statements, policies, procedures, codes and standards.
• Maintain budgets, staffing and supplies.
• Develop policies and procedures for operating a highly efficient, customer-focused department.
• Maintain effective working relationships with MMC customers including physicians, patients, families and other team members.

• Minimum Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing Program. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field. Three to five years experience in a supervisory role required. Must obtain a Bachelor's degree from two years of hire date. MSN preferred.
• Minimum Experience: A minimum of five years current clinical experience in a specialty area or management.
• Certification/Licensure: Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico or compact RN license. CPR certification required.
