Director – ICU

Position Overview

Were hiring a Director of ICU to lead the strategic, clinical, and operational direction of a high-acuity intensive care unit. This leadership role is essential to advancing critical care delivery through a focus on team development, quality metrics, and patient safety. The ideal candidate brings deep clinical knowledge, a passion for process improvement, and a track record of success in hospital leadership.

• Current (or eligible) New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelors degree in Nursing required

• Seven (7) years of healthcare experience
  , including at least three (3) years in a leadership role

• Proven ability to lead in a critical care environment

• Strong understanding of quality improvement initiatives and regulatory standards

• Advanced degree (MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration)

• Experience in a for-profit hospital setting

• Demonstrated ability to build multidisciplinary teams focused on clinical excellence

• Skilled in provider relations and cross-functional collaboration
