- Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- No minimum experience required
- Documentation of current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical studies with a B average or better, or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician, or documentation of an Emergency Medical Technician License, or documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similar military-issued document to validate training, or completion of a Patient Care Technician Program with a current PCT National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
- Patient Care Tech will be required to take and pass Memorial Medical Center's Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire.
- Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
