Responsibilities- Under the supervision of an RN, perform basic patient care activities.
- Utilize your specialized plan-of-care intervention to serve as a patient‑care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys and directly impacting patient wellbeing.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- No minimum experience required.
- Documentation of current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program with a B average or better, or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician, or documentation of a current State issued Emergency Medical Technician License, or documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214), or successful completion of a Patient Care Technician Program with a current Patient Care Tech National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
- Required to take and pass Memorial Medical Center's Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire.
- Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
