MLS Microbiology Supervisor
Salary $65K to $70K.
Location:
Las Cruces, NM, 88011.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science
- MLS or equivalent. ASCP certification preferred.
- 2 years working in an acute care facility.
- 2 years of Microbiology experience required.
- Experience with Joint Commission requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Quality assurance procedures.
The Medical Lab Scientist (Med Tech) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This position is a working Supervisor position for Microbiology. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the department. Responsible for regulatory compliance.
Minimum Education:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Minimum Experience:
2 years working in acute care facility.
Licensure: MLS or equivalent. ASCP Certified preferred.
This is a full-time position.
