DescriptionAssists with all functions associated with insurance billing and claims processing for Central Billing Office. Processes unpaid accounts by contacting insurance payers. Handles special projects and serves as back up for the other insurance specialists. Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications- Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of business office courses desirable. - Minimum Experience:
Minimum one year experience in medical office or clerical background. Demonstrated skills in working with computers. - Knowledge of collection practices with insurance payers. Knowledge of governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to collection activity.
