Digital Manager // Deputy Digital Director
Deb Haaland for Governor of New Mexico is seeking an experienced, organized and passionate team player to serve as a Digital Manager // Deputy Digital Director (title consummate with experience) on our Digital team for the 2026 cycle. We’re looking for a motivated digital strategist ready to help elect the first Indigenous woman governor in the country. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This individual will report to the Digital Director.
Salary range: $6,000 - $8,000/month commensurate with experience. Health, vision, and dental insurance are included with Employee premiums covered 100% by Deb for New Mexico.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Social Media
- Draft, schedule, and publish engaging content across social platforms
- Help develop and execute the campaign’s social media strategy
- Capture and produce content on the road and at campaign events
- Create toolkits and shareable materials for supporters and partners
- Manage and mentor team members
- Monitor analytics to optimize engagement and reach
- Coordinate rapid-response and creative content development
- Collaborate with other departments to align and shape messaging
- Other responsibilities as designated
Digital Fundraising
- Help to draft and produce compelling fundraising emails, texts, ads
- Coordinate with campaign’s digital agency on fundraising programs
- Track, analyze, and report on digital fundraising performance
- Develop creative fundraising concepts and test new ideas
- Manage calendars, approvals, and execution for digital fundraising campaigns
- Support budget planning and digital performance tracking
- Other responsibilities as designated
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ cycles in a digital role for a campaign, organization, or PAC focused on social media, digital fundraising, or both
- Experienced in content creation (graphics, video, or photo editing a plus)
- Proven ability to write, edit, and proof compelling content that drives action and conveys overarching messaging
- Experience managing social platforms, online communities, or rapid-response
- Willing to learn//experience with fundraising platforms (Act Blue), CRMs (NGP/VAN), and broadcast text systems (e.g., Switchboard)
- Comfortable analyzing and presenting social and fundraising performance metrics
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel throughout New Mexico as needed
- Familiar with:
Adobe Creative Suite, NGP/VAN, Act Blue, Google Workspace - Access to a car and valid driver’s license
- Spanish-speaking or ties to New Mexico a plus
