Work Schedule:
Create and facilitate mathematics education professional learning for K-5 teachers and principals to strengthen content and pedagogical knowledge in elementary math that leads to improved student learning outcomes.
- The position requires expertise in K-5 mathematics progression of content standards; demonstration of exemplary classroom practices; extensive knowledge of educational research; experience in the design of online and in-person professional development for teachers; and extensive experience in facilitation of educator learning.
- The position will also evaluate and critique current micro-credential courses and engage in continuous review and revision of professional develop courses.
- Position requires masters degree in education or related field.
Required
Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Education in a specialized field as defined in the position description + 4 years or relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- NM Level 2 or 3 Teaching License and minimum of five years classroom teaching experience.
- Experience Canvas Course design.
Special Certification/Licensure:
Working Conditions and Physical EffortEnvironment: Work is normally performed indoors.
- Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.
- Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
