Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent construction-related experience considered.
  • 10+ years of utility-scale electrical construction and estimating experience.
  • Valid Master Electrician license or reciprocal in the applicable state.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction practices.
  • Experience estimating and developing bids for utility-scale electrical projects.
  • Extensive experience with field installation techniques and methods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Safety-oriented; OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certificates preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to undertake necessary tasks.
  • Ability to work as a team-builder and team player.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with bid team members.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and provide support.
  • Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates.
Responsibilities
  • Manage construction safety protocols.
  • Ensure environmental compliance.
  • Oversee quality control.
  • Understand and manage project costs and budgets.
  • Schedule and oversee crew workforce, equipment, and tools for optimal utilization and quality.
  • Review timecards and invoices for proper cost allocation and accountability.
  • Ensure all employees are compliant with safety policies and trained appropriately.
  • Engage in business development and manage client relationships.
