Quest Smart Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client
, a domiciliary care provider based in Larne
, for the Registered Manager position
.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for service delivery, regulatory compliance, staff management, and quality assurance, reporting to the service provider’s Director.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead the safe, effective delivery of domiciliary care services.
  • Ensure full compliance with RQIA regulations and standards.
  • Manage and support care staff, including recruitment, supervision, training, and rotas.
  • Oversee safeguarding, medication management, risk assessments, and care planning.
  • Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and document compliance.
  • Liaise with service users, families, professionals, and regulators
  • Prepare the service for inspection and drive continuous quality improvement.

Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility routes
, in line with RQIA requirements:

Route A
  • A professional Social Work qualification registered with NISCC, or
  • First-level Registered Nurse registered with the NMC, or
  • An Allied Health Professional registered with the HCPC,
  • and
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a health or social care setting, including at least 2 years in an operational management role.

OR

Route B
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (Adult Management) (NI & Wales),
  • and
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health or social care setting, including at least 2 years in an operational management role.
Additional Requirements
  • Registered with NISCC (mandatory)
  • Eligible and willing to register with RQIA as a Registered Manager
  • Strong knowledge of NI health and social care regulations
  • Proven leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
  • Right to work in the UK.
