Position: Accountant - Immediate Start
Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a highly reputable professional services organisation based in Belfast who require an experienced Accountant to join them immediately on a temporary basis. This company is renowned for its long standing reputation and strong presence within the local market, and widely recognised for delivering high quality services across a diverse portfolio of clients.

Your new role Preparation of monthly management accounts Month end and year end close activities Balance sheet reconciliations Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles Financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders General ledger maintenance and oversight of AP/AR processes Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial standards Assisting with internal and external audit requirements Ad hoc finance tasks as required by the team What you'll need to succeed Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or strong relevant experience Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting Availability to start immediately, or within a very short timeframe Excellent Excel and systems skills High level of accuracy and strong analytical capability Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively across teams What you'll get in return Immediate start in a well regarded organisation Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high performing finance function What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
