Senior Accountant

Your new company A growing international organisation within the transport and logistics sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems/Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This company is undergoing significant transformation and investment in financial systems, making it an exciting opportunity for a technically strong accountant with advanced systems expertise to drive change, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Your new role As Senior Systems/Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial reporting, controlling core financial processes, and leading system optimisation across the business. This is a critical role requiring both strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to drive systems improvements that enhance accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

5 years' experience in financial accounting and systems management. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar). Advanced Excel and data analysis capability. Excellent knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and statutory compliance requirements.

Desirable Experience in transport, logistics, or related industries. Project management experience (system implementations, upgrades, automation).
