Qualifications and Requirements- Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Make correct monetary change
- Operate a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders
- Working in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
- In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some areas
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher
- Cold, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, and hot surfaces/tools
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
- Visually near and mid‑range vision for most tasks
- Hearing required on telephone and in‑store communication
- Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift
- Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position
- Walking: short distances for short durations
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb, cases stacked on shelves up to 72 in tall
- Carrying: large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb per tray)
- Pushing and pulling: move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force
- Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladders
- Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, approx 30–45 s each time, repeated throughout the day
- Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
- Reaching: continuously up, down, and forward
- Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous, frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough
