Being a Delivery Driver isn’t your average pizza delivery gig; it can be the first step toward management, general manager, or even franchise ownership.

• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance
• Safe driving record meeting company standards
• Navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
• Comprehend and give correct written instructions
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
• Make correct monetary change
• Operate a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders

• Working in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
• In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some areas
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher
• Cold, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, and hot surfaces/tools
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
• Visually near and mid‑range vision for most tasks
• Hearing required on telephone and in‑store communication

• Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift
• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position
• Walking: short distances for short durations
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb, cases stacked on shelves up to 72 in tall
• Carrying: large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb per tray)
• Pushing and pulling: move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force
• Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladders
• Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, approx 30–45 s each time, repeated throughout the day
• Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
• Reaching: continuously up, down, and forward
• Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous, frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough
