Robins & Morton is looking for a Drywall Foreman to lead our Drywall team in the planning, lay-out and installation of drywall work.

We are looking for a candidate who will lead with integrity and collaborate with the team to plan and coordinate the efforts of the craft team under his/her supervision and motivate them to successfully accomplish their scope of work. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, detail oriented and efficient.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

* Be able to perform all of the essential functions of the craft workers under his/her supervision.

* Train/teach safety practices, policies, and procedures related to an employee's assigned tasks.

* Gain a complete understanding of the scope of work and the related parts of the project.

* Conduct tool box meetings & communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans & schedules to the crews.

* Plan and communicate with the warehouse, purchasing, and supervisor to assure that an adequate supply of tools, materials, and equipment are available.

* Ensure through personal inspections that correct construction procedures are followed and work is in compliance with plans & specifications.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

* High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred.

* Must be a highly qualified journeyman carpenter with at least 3 years' experience.

* Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.

* NCCER Certification preferred.
