Robins & Morton is looking for a Drywall Installer to work with our Drywall team, assisting with the construction of our large-scale projects.

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to help our drywall team to install, repair and hang drywall, as lead by his/her R&M manager, using both hand and power tools.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

* Take off material quantities accurately.

* Build square, level and plumb a specific project task using basic drywall tools.

* Follow established safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area.

* Read construction documents and complete specific task with those provided documents.

* Install interior finish items.

* Use different types of tools, safely e.g. Saws (Band, circular, jig, reciprocating, chop, compound miter, etc.), Drills (Electric, Cordless, Hammer, etc.), and cutting torches.

* Run basic equipment, including but not limited to:
All terrain telescoping fork lift, back-hoe, skid steer, tractor, etc.

* Cut and install interior/exterior wood, metal backing as required.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

* High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred

* A minimum of 2 years' experience as carpenter required.

* Previous experience in hospital construction preferred.

* Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.

* Recognize problems in drawings, document, or sketch for a task.

* Provide and maintain general hand tools including: tool belt/box, hammers, tape measures, hand levels, squares, chalk lines, plumb bob, tie wire reel, screw drivers, pliers, etc.
