Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a Maryland or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications for a night shift position.
Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:30 to 08:00

• Every other weekend required

• Holidays required as scheduled

• Floating required within the specialty and to lower acuity units as needed

• Average nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2

• 32-bed unit with an average daily census of 26 patients

• No scheduled on-call requirements

• Navy blue scrubs are required

• First-time travelers are accepted

• Must be available to work assigned holidays as they fall
Requirements

• Active Maryland or compact RN license required

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH

• TNCC preferred

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
