We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a PRN PACU RN to join our team.
Duties- Perform an appropriate post-operative assessment of the patient as indicated by their procedure and physician orders.
- Provide safe, individualized nursing care during the recovery period for each patient.
- Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies.
- Provide appropriate discharge education and guidelines to patients and their families
- RN license in the state of FL
- 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- BLS/ACLS
- PACU experience required
- Availability of shifts will vary but afternoon and Friday availability is highly desired
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and family members.
