Chemical Mix Tech II
The Chemical Mix Tech IIis primarily responsible for producing parts that meet cosmetic requirements and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Operate Bead Blast Operations.
- Operate centrifugal finishing equipment.
- Operate Vibratory finishing equipment.
- Operate buffing equipment.
- Plug and mask parts per print for all mechanical and chemical finishing operations.
- Operate chemical finishing operations such as TypeIIpassivation, clear coat anodize, hard coat anodize, etc.
- Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities.
- Perform Equipment PM's
- Ability to produce parts with Zero defects
- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions and procedures
- Ability to work at established production rates.
- Ability to rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes and perform tasks in a cell/team environment.
- Minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, specifically in finishing and/or coating processes.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in reading instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
- Skilled in operating various types of production equipment and using gauges and other measurement tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work with materials and chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
- Commitment to follow all metals finishing and plating procedures.
- Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in metals finishing/plating.
- Demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely without causing injury or damage.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes.
