Position PurposeThe Micro-cleaner is a critical role in the company which ensures the proper cleaning of the cleanroom, controlled environment and GMP laboratory environments.
SchedulePart Time – Sunday – Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleanroom cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
- Participate in continuous training: cGMP training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
- Document control related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Micro-clean all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
- Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail, including documentation.
- Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
- Review changes to cGMP documentation and re-train as needed.
- Assist in cross-training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- All other duties as defined by supervisor.
Other more specific results will be assigned and measured.
- Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND/OR
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have and be able to consistently apply the following skills at the levels indicated to produce assigned results.

Up to 40 pounds
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).

- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
