Mechanical Project Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to successfully initiate, execute, track and close projects in a Mechanical Services environment. This position will have ownership of project work from start to finish, owning and managing each step along the way.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage project turnovers from the Estimating team and input data into our project software.
• Develop and submit Schedule of Values (SOV) for approval before project work begins.
• Oversee project costs, approve invoices, and ensure ECAC is current.
• Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate schedules with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure approved change orders before implementing changes.
• Champion company policies, goals, and safe working conditions on all projects.
• Identify and relay sales opportunities to the sales team.
• Collaborate with MBS for PMA opportunities before job turnovers.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial mechanical construction industry.
• Capable of making independent decisions, while still maintaining a team-focused mentality.
• Excellent computer skills;
  Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and strong verbal and written skills.
