As a Janitorial Specialist for a pharmaceutical grade corporation, your role will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). You will be responsible for following established cleaning practices, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold the company's commitment to quality standards and regulatory compliance. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position, and as such, you may be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Please note that this is a union position.

• Perform cleaning services per scope and follow governing SOPs in non‑classified spaces where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks such as, but not limited to, mopping and vacuuming floors, high and low dusting, deep cleaning and disinfecting of multiple surfaces and restrooms, and appropriate disposal of waste receptacles daily – including recyclables.
• Complete deep cleans, office restoration, and special projects requested by Janitorial Supervisor and JLL/FS managerial teams.
• Verify that the proper chemicals are used for each designated area assigned.
• Organize and upkeep of janitor closets, supply storage, and cleaning equipment.
• Notify Janitorial Supervisor of occurring deficiencies, safety concerns, and need for repairs, sitewide.
• Assist with employee uniforms.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with cGMPs and adherence to SOPs.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, shutdowns and overtime as required.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout workday.
• Ability to read, write, and understand documentation in English.

• Prior experience of cleaning a GMP controlled environment is a plus.
• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as lab, biotech or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.

Onsite – Largo, FL

Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm + alternating weekends.

Overtime based on business needs.
