About the OrganizationOperation PAR, Inc. is a non‑profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in West Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

Performs substance abuse and mental health counseling work on an individual patient basis and in a group setting. Duties primarily consist of conducting and documenting services such as counseling, psycho‑educational groups, psychosocial assessment, case management, and treatment planning. Counseling includes discussion of issues associated with MAPS patient’s substance use and other co‑occurring conditions in an effort to work toward a constructive resolution of those problems and ultimately toward recovery.
May be required to use telehealth services to provide clinical screenings, assessments, and counseling.

Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification if client contact is part of the job
- Ability to move about treatment facility, both indoors and out
- Ability to lift and carry 5 to 10 pounds; reasonable accommodation will be made for otherwise qualified individuals with a disability
- Adheres to company time and attendance standards, with understanding of the needs of a 24‑hour residential program if applicable
- Demonstrates knowledge of company policy and procedure
- Performs other duties as assigned and maintains a safe work environment
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass a level II background check and drug screen
- Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies
- Treatment program environment
- Exposure to individuals who may be experiencing emotional distress or agitation
- Possible exposure to clients with communicable diseases
- Involves some outdoor activities
- In‑home or community environments
Pay differential for Bilingual is +$1/hr
