Provides design and support for City transportation, stormwater and sanitary sewer utility engineering projects and work programs. Assignments are performed independently requiring skill and accuracy in civil engineering technology. Position reports to a Program or Senior Engineer.
Starting Salary for Engineer I $55,390.40
Starting Salary for Engineer II $59,529.60
Qualifications – Engineer I- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to obtain valid State of Florida Engineering Intern (EI) Certificate within two (2) years of employment
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering field and two (2) years directly related engineering experience (or one year of City of Largo engineering experience)
- Valid State of Florida Engineering Intern (EI) Certification
- Valid Driver's License
