The Substitute Teacher position supports school instructional staff by covering classes as needed. This temporary, part‑time role requires a minimum of 4 days of work per month, including two days on Fridays and Mondays, and involves completing required training and security assessments.

• Complete the Active Threat Assessment online prior to accepting an assignment.
• Work a minimum of four days per month (two Fridays and two Mondays).
• Enter hours into the Frontline Absence Management/AESOP system.
• Execute duties as outlined in the Teacher Substitute Job Description.

• One professional reference for work or volunteer work within the last year.
• Work/life history covering the last 10 years or since high school graduation.
• Official college transcripts from an accredited institution with at least 60 college credit hours.
• For former PCS teachers: a copy of the Florida Educator’s Certificate or valid Statement of Eligibility plus official transcripts.
