The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing high level support and guidance to Warehouse Operations (Packaging/Shipping/Receiving); ensuring accurate planning, monitoring and scheduling of labor force and process operations in the department. Supports safe, quality production in an efficient manner and meets Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Safety, Environmental and Labor Efficiency in compliance with the Quality Policy. Primary focus is toward training and development of associates' abilities to satisfy customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Strict adherence to Corporate and/or local policies is required. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations and strive for continuous process improvement. Demonstration of professionalism and leadership at all times is required.
* Must be cross-trained in all areas of Warehouse Operations.
* Leadership and training support during assigned shift and scheduled overtime
* Review daily customer demand with Supervisor, Planning, Customer Service and Shipping - ensure operations flow as per scheduled demand
* Support warehouse operations as a working Lead
* Support shipping and receiving areas
* Ensure compliance to inventory work flow requirements and accuracy in QAD
* Support cycle counts and inventory investigations
* Manage break schedule, Kronos punches, respond to call-ins

Requirements/
Qualifications:
* High School diploma
* Warehouse Operations 1 year
* Inventory control 1 year
* Manufacturing environment 1 year
* Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - Intermediate level
* Prior experience using ERP/MRP/WMS software.
* Must demonstrate proficiency in Saint-Gobain systems QAD and Factivity - able to provide training.
* Forklift certification with the ability to provide employee training
* Ability to communicate professionally
* Demonstrates leadership potential
