• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone for each job site.
• Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera‑phone system.
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Cooperate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them.
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the full amount on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
• This position does not require over‑the‑road travel.

• Valid CDL – Class A or
  
  B.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo is 70‑pound bundles of shingles).
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Conveyor and/or flatbed truck experience preferred.
• Semi tractor & trailer experience preferred.
• Trailer‑mounted forklift experience preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Crane certification preferred.
