Job Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the hotel’s physical assets, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc.).

· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

· Conduct daily inspections of public areas, guest rooms, mechanical rooms, and exterior grounds.

· Assist with preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

· Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop and storage areas.

· Ensure safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times.

· Communicate effectively with hotel management and other departments regarding issues and project updates.

Qualifications:

· Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred (hotel or hospitality industry is a plus).

· Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

· Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

· High school diploma or GED required; technical certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing ladders or stairs.

· Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments.
