Overview

Golf Pro Shop Clerk – Laredo Country Club is seeking a Pro Shop Clerk for the golf department. The candidate should be service oriented, maintain a positive energy and high integrity, and be prepared to contribute to a welcoming member experience. The club provides training to help you succeed in this position.

• Deliver a friendly, energetic and positive approach to service.
• Maintain a professional image and demonstrate strong phone etiquette and knowledge of service.
• Sell merchandise in the Golf Pro Shop and ensure shop operations run smoothly, with optimal service execution.
• Cross-train in all aspects of the Golf Pro Shop retail operation.
• Assist in creating merchandising displays to maximize sales and product turnover.
• Provide superior customer service and observe the club’s safety rules and regulations.
• Oversee and coordinate work of guest services on the golf course, particularly Starters and Rangers.
• Monitor equipment and golf cart use; ensure a smooth pace of play.
• Control registration to prevent unauthorized use of facilities.
• Assist golfers during play and respond to emergencies on the course; administer First Aid if necessary.
• Direct players to the first tee at appropriate times to manage pace of play.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules
• Ability to perform in emergency situations
