Job Title: Supervisor (Commercial).
Location: LAREDO
SUMMARY:
- Performs a variety of custodial tasks, including custodial training, managing, and leading.
- Oversee shift work.
- Leads, guides, and/or trains custodians in applicable procedures and techniques.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Must be available to work flexible shift hours including weekends.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as needed to include;
Dust, Mops Floors, Vacuum Carpets, Cleans Restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies, Empties trash receptacles and bags trash for proper disposal when necessary.
- High School Diploma.
- 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Must be bilingual.
- Knowledge of custodial practices, machinery, and related equipment. Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to lead and train staff.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Maintain adequate supplies for the daily needs of custodial staff.
- Must be willing to travel out-of-town when necessary.
- Must have valid driver license Class
C. - Must pass a Federal Background.
- 90-day probationary period
