Event Custodian

Overview

Event Custodian role at Legends Global. Part-Time position based at Sames Auto Arena, Laredo, TX. The Part-Time Custodian is responsible for performing the duties listed below.

• Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout the facility.
• Ensure that all areas remain free of trash.
• Keep restrooms, dressing and locker rooms well maintained, and tile surfaces dry and clean.
• Maintain glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing.
• Store facility event equipment properly when not in use. Keep emergency pathways free of obstructions.
• Keep housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notify supervisor of any broken parts.
• Clean and return equipment and supplies to their proper places after use.
• Complete daily checklists to ensure cleanliness and safety for patrons at each event.
• Assist clients with requests during events.
• Demonstrate ongoing efforts to improve housekeeping operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline processes, and meet customer expectations.
• Work effectively as part of a team and with other building departments. Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management. Other duties may be assigned.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  High School diploma or GED is required, and a minimum of six (6) months related experience is preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
