The Disease Intervention Manager oversees the daily operations of the Preventive Health Care Clinic and provides leadership and supervision to all clinic staff. This position is responsible for the coordination and management of 340B program activities, including compliance, reporting, audits, and monitoring to ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines. The Disease Intervention Manager prioritizes expanding access to testing and medical services while strengthening client-centered care, and supports sustainable 340B program revenue growth through effective program utilization and integrity.
In addition, this position manages grant‑funded program activities, including grant applications, renewals, reporting, and budget monitoring to ensure performance and fiscal accountability. The Disease Intervention Manager is co‑responsible on all the programmatic activities of STD prevention. This positions prepares operational and programmatic reports, communicates outcomes and performance metrices to senior leadership and leads clinical quality management efforts for federal, state, and locally‑funded programs, including industry‑supported initiatives.

- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, including recommendations for hiring and termination participation, assigning duties, overseeing schedules, and approving time away from work.
- Provides and facilitates employee training and development, addresses employee concerns, administers counseling or discipline as needed, completes performance evaluations, and recommends salary actions. Serves as a liaison between employees and senior management.
- Provides onsite leadership and operational supervision for the Preventive Health Care Clinic, supporting daily service delivery and ensuring adequate staffing coverage across programs and clinic services.
- Assists with grant applications, grant renewals and ongoing grant reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with all funding guidance.
- Coordinates with program managers and clinical teams to support services offered at the Preventive Health Care Clinic, including but not limited to mammography, Hepatitis C, and HIV testing and treatment, vaccines, and other preventive health services.
- Manages operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities associated with assigned programs and services, ensuring effective resource utilization and program sustainability.
- Generates programmatic and financial reports, submits required documentation to grant funders and administrative leadership, and participates in meetings and program update discussions as needed.
- Leads and supports clinical quality management activities to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered, and compliant service delivery across assigned programs.
- Will be required to drive a City vehicle for city business use.
