Job SummaryThe Center for Continuing & Professional Education is seeking qualified teachers to instruct summer youth program participants in various educational classes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Instruct summer youth program participants in various educational classes and offerings.
- Education - 80 Semester credit hours or Associates degree in Early Childhood.
- Experience - working with programs/camps/clinics involving minors
- Additional relevant education may replace experience requirement.
- May NOT be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.
- Education - Bachelors Degree in education (Elementary, Middle, or High School)
- Texas Teaching Certificate
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to teach the required subject curriculum to participants at appropriate level.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and tactfully with participants, parents, and university faculty /staff

Other Requirements- This is a temporary summer position, start date of June 1, 2026.
- Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.
- Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
$20 - $25 per hour, based on education and experience.
