Duties and Responsibilities
Application Pool Notice
Laredo College continuously accepts applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors to create a pool of candidates for each session/semester. Applications will be reviewed and positions will be filled based on department needs. Applications received for this pool will remain active for one year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Legal Administrative Professional Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and ensuring effective teaching and learning in the Accredited Legal Professional program through the Continuing Education Department. This role involves developing and adapting course curricula to align with industry standards, preparing comprehensive lesson plans and course materials, and maintaining accurate records, including attendance and grading. The instructor must create an engaging learning environment, fostering student participation and motivation through interactive teaching methods and real-world applications.

Required:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent.
- Three years of professional experience as a Legal Administrative and/or Paralegal in the state of Texas.
- Texas Driver's License
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
- One year teaching or training experience.
- Relevant current industry certifications (e.g., Certified Paralegal, Accredited Legal Professional) and/or willingness to obtain and maintain relevant industry certification.
