Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide itinerant services within schools in Laredo, TX. This role requires delivering psychological support and assessments across multiple school sites within the assigned district. The position spans from the start date as soon as possible through May 28, 2026.
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential required
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels
- Bilingual candidates are preferred to support diverse student populations
Location and Assignment Details:
- Itinerant role within schools located in Laredo, Texas
- Full-time schedule with a focus on direct student support and consultation
- Services provided across multiple school campuses within the designated district
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support to students as needed
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
Additional Information:
- Time-sensitive credentialing and internal prescreen interviews will be required; candidates should be available for interviews during select morning or afternoon windows (flexible scheduling possible)
