**** Job Summary
** The Student Teacher Supervisor under general supervision is responsible for evaluating the performance of teacher candidates in the assigned schools in local and surrounding communities.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Evaluating the performance of teacher candidates in the classroom setting of local and surrounding areas.
* Completing a minimum of four, formal classroom evaluations.
* Developing model lessons as needed.
* Participating in and/or conducting seminars.
* Attending department or College meetings required by the Department, Chair or Dean.

** Minimum Requirements**
* ** Education** – Master’s degree in an education related discipline.
* ** Experience** – Five years of experience in classroom teaching and/or non-teaching administrative position.
* Current certification in the class in which supervision – currently seeking educational diagnostician, principal or school counseling.
** Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
*** Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Critical analytical skills in order to provide constructive feedback and assess the candidates’ performance in the field.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to conduct face-to-face, online, and verbal presentations.
* Ability to communicate technical information and instructions to a diverse audience.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently once given a project.
** Licensing / Professional Certification
** Texas Education Agency r, Current Texas Teaching Certification, active certification as a Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser
** Physical Requirements** – General Office Environment.

** Pay of Rate**: $16.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly
