Requirements Active State Medical License, & DEA (with TX address), Board Certified in ABEM OR ABFM OR ABIM (or osteopathic counterparts),
* Must be residency trained in EM,IM or FM Speciality Certified in*, ACLS, ATLS, & PALS, CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, copies of all education & training diplomas, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo emailed to MSO, TB/FLU. Annually must have 8 hrs of Stroke CME and 8 hrs of Trauma CME.Description
* 80 Hospital Beds; 18 ED (3 Fast Track)
* 30K Annual ED Volume
* Level III Trauma Center
* EMR:
Cerner 1stnet
Scheduling conducted 4 to 6 weeks in advance. T-System documentation system. Scrubs or professional attire. Formal triage system.
Special Services Cath lab, CT scan, ICU, MRI, Physical Therapy, Behavorial Management/Psychiatry, OB/GYNBackup
Obstetrics/GYN, ENT, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Orthopedics, IM, Radiology, FP, Pathology, Surgery, Ophthamology, Urology, Pulmonology, Pain Management Most transfers to:
San Antonio, Texas Staffing Model
* 24 Hours Physician Coverage
* 20 Hours- 10 Hr Shifts Advanced Practitioner Coverage
* 24 hours Scribe Coverage Trauma Center Designation Level 4
