Our platform is designed to provide our customers with real-time visibility, transparency, and control over their supply chains. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Customs Business Development Associate to join our team and help us expand our customs brokerage services.
Job DescriptionThe Customs Business Development Associate will play a crucial role in developing and expanding our customs brokerage services. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong track record of sales and business development, as well as experience in customs brokerage and cross border freight.
Responsibilities- Identify new sales opportunities in the customs brokerage market (MX & US) and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
- Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to enhance our customs brokerage platform
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure that all customs-related activities are conducted in compliance with local and international regulations
- Keep up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and market trends
- Provide guidance and support to customers on customs-related issues
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers
- Bachelor s degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in customs brokerage or logistics
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and cross border operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluency in English & Spanish, both written and spoken
