Commercial Manager Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Advise the CEO on growth strategies and investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate financials for projects, including CAPEX, land, equipment, and warehouses.
  • Create value propositions for clients across various industries.
  • Set and manage goals for each business line.
  • Build and oversee the business plan while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Engage with clients and partners to establish trust and secure contracts.
  • Oversee pricing, quotes, and margins to maintain competitiveness.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Address customer issues and escalations effectively.
  • Track key performance indicators related to quotes, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Branch Managers to streamline processes.
  • Standardize commercial processes and service level agreements.
Commercial Manager Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the logistics and maritime services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or substantial sales leadership experience preferred.
