Overview
Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Critical Care Unit in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard working Registered Nurses who will work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About the UnitThe Critical Care Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital is a 19 bedded combined general unit caring for patients requiring Level 2 or Level 3 care.
Key Requirements- Previous experience in intensive care and high dependency nursing is essential.
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrate an appetite for lifelong learning and provide evidence of your professional development.
- Ability to contribute to the development of critical care services, adapt to an unpredictable, rapidly evolving, technologically advanced work environment, and be able to cope with and drive change.
- Flexibility to work as the situation and service requires.
- Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership required.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
