Overview:
The Radiation Therapist administers prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accurate dosage, safety, and compassionate care. This role also supports patient education, billing processes, and maintains compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Essential Functions:

Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments.
Calculate exposure details (dose, intensity, equipment settings).
Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being during therapy.
Educate patients and community on radiation therapy.
Assist with billing, coding, and related documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiation Technology (required).
Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist (required).
Current Wyoming Radiation Technologist license in good standing.
Current ARRT registration and BLS certification (or obtain within 60 days).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of anatomy, oncology, and radiation therapy techniques.
Compassionate and patient-focused care.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency with medical software and technology.
