• Provide advanced clinical services through individual, family and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients.
• Prepare person-centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care.
• Provide both written and verbal consultation to other agencies.
• Assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs which address community needs.

• Location: SCLHSA's River Parishes Behavioral Health Center located in Laplace, LA.
• Appointment Type: Probationary Appointment
• Compensation: The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.
• Career Progression Group (CPG): This position participates in a CPG and may be filled as a Professional Counselor 1, 2, 3, or 4 level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series.
