Craftsman/Laborer – Barriere Construction Group

• Preparing utility pipe for crew
• Cutting materials
• Hand grading
• Checking string lines
• Housekeeping at job site
• Checking safety protocol
• Laying out job materials according to plan
• Beginning of day set-up and end of day clean-up

• Minimum of 1 year experience in road or construction field
• Minimum of 1 year experience in underground utility work
• Minimum of 1 year experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to read and understand simple directions
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be able to pass DISA required testing
• Must have a TWIC card

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity)
• Ability to lift 51 pounds
• Observe all safety protocols
• Ability to operate a wheelbarrow
• Operate or work with equipment such as Wacker, hand tools, and other small equipment used to move concrete and pipe
