Program and operate CMM coordinate measuring machines including Leica with scanning technology, and other portable CMMs with use of Polyworks software. Approve the start of production through dimensional measurement of sample parts.

• Develop, qualify, and maintain CMM programs.
• Inspect and approve first piece at start of production.
• Inspect and approve final inspections prior to delivery.
• Read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety of milled and fabricated weldments.
• Ensure that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified.
• Work with Production leads to relay and interpret inspection findings.
• Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase orders, sketches and PPAP requirements.
• Participate in the corrective action and preventative action processes.
• Participate in Gage R & R Studies.
• Utilize a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.

• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram format.
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Demonstrate accuracy of work produced, meeting company standards, and requiring little to no rework.
• Search out new tasks and expand ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision.
• Punctuality and attendance.
• Show willingness and cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors; accept constructive criticism.
• Follow quality environmental policies and have knowledge of AS9100 and ISO
  14001.
• Follow safety procedures, security protocol, and wear proper PPE.

• High School Diploma and three to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Three to five years related experience.
• GD&T experience for print reading.
• Basic caliper, micrometer, and bore gauge knowledge.

• Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO
  14001.

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
