TRAVEL HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR IN LEBANON, IN PAY: $27-33/HR PLUS PER DIEM Job Description
As a Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating off-road dump trucks to transport earth and rock on a commercial job site located in Lebanon, IN. This role involves working with heavy equipment in the areas of commercial and civil construction, earthwork, and earth moving.
Responsibilities- Operate off-road dump trucks to move earth and rock within the commercial job site.
- Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of dirt, as well as pulling behind scrapers.
- Adhere to a strict schedule, working from 6am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with the possibility of extended hours on Saturdays.
- Maintain flexibility to be transferred to other out-of-state sites as needed.
- Comply with safety protocols and site code of conduct.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
- Experience in commercial and civil construction, particularly in earthwork and earth moving.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check.
Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different work sites.
- Flexibility with work hours, including working 10-12+ hours a day.
- Capability to be insured to operate company vehicles for travel to other job sites.

Work EnvironmentThe job site is an open farmland in Lebanon, IN, exposed to varying weather conditions typical of Indiana, including hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The site follows rigorous safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards. Professional appearance and behavior are expected, with a strong emphasis on communication and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety and efficiency.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
