Overview
The City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a friendly and responsible Front Desk Attendant to join our team at our swimming facilities.
Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age at the time of hire.
- Interested candidates must provide proof of age prior to interview selection.
- Must have the following certifications:
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Certification, and Michigan Mandated Reporter Training. - Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience and competence in oral and written communication.
- Attend all pre-season and in-season trainings.
- Consistently and politely enforce city policies, rules, regulations, and ordinances governing the conduct of person using the swimming facility.
- Correct all reported, observed, or potential physical hazards and unsafe conditions at the pool.
- Add all patrons who are not in the computer system
- Clean front desk area, including lobby daily
