** Job Summary
** As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems while learning from skilled professionals. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow in a rewarding trade.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Provide exceptional customer service while communicating professionally and effectively.
* Produce neat, organized, and high-quality work that meets company standards.
* Support the plumbing team by assisting with installations, diagnostics, and repairs.
* Learn and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment.
* Develop technical skills through hands-on experience and ongoing training.
* Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials on the job site.
* Collaborate effectively with team members, taking direction and contributing to project success.
* Represent the company with a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude.

**** Minimum Qualifications
*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Valid driver’s license with insurability through Vredevoogd’s insurance carrier.
* Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
* Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in a variety of conditions, including Michigan’s changing weather.
* A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
* Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment.
* Must live within 45 minutes of Grand Rapids.
