Sustain Lawn & Landscape is a professional landscaping and hardscape installation company serving the Greater Lansing area. We specialize in outdoor living installations including patios, retaining walls, grading, drainage systems, and landscape construction for residential and commercial clients.

Sustain Lawn & Landscape is seeking a Landscape Installation Foreman to support and lead field operations across landscape and hardscape installation projects.

This role works collaboratively with crew members to complete projects in accordance with installation plans, safety procedures, and company standards. The Foreman assists with coordinating daily tasks on-site, operating equipment, and maintaining communication with internal leadership and customers throughout project completion.

• Lead or assist with installation of patios, retaining walls, grading, drainage systems, and related landscape features
• Interpret project layouts and support execution of assigned installation tasks
• Coordinate daily job site setup, workflow, and clean‑up
• Operate equipment such as skid steers and hand‑held power tools
• Support crew training on proper equipment use and job site safety procedures
• Communicate job progress with management and clients as needed
• Complete daily job site documentation and reporting
• Participate in seasonal services such as snow removal during winter months

• Previous experience in landscaping, hardscape installation, or construction
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Familiarity with landscape or construction equipment
• Strong attention to detail and task completion
• Valid driver’s license required

• Experience leading a crew or coordinating installation tasks
• Experience reading project plans or installation layouts
• Previous customer‑facing job site communication

• Ability to perform job duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to regularly lift and move materials consistent with landscaping tasks
• Ability to operate machinery and tools in accordance with safety guidelines
