• Install and service a variety of residential and commercial garage doors, including overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling doors, and related hardware.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess garage door systems and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with garage door openers, springs, cables, tracks, and other components.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of garage doors and associated equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure the safe installation and operation of garage doors.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain service procedures, diagnose problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for garage door installations, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to offer technical expertise and support during customer consultations.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and stay informed about the latest garage door products and advancements in the industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical or vocational training related to garage door systems is a plus.
• Proven experience in garage door installation, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to use various tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Physical ability to comfortably lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to comply with safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
