Learn more:  As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while controlling access points. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible presence. Your role is key in supporting a secure environment through teamwork, communication, and upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel to help to deter security-related risks and maintain a secure environment for employees and assets.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
